MSO Select MSO Select is a surfractant made from a combination of high quality methylated seed oil, and emulsifiers. MSO is recommended or required for use with many herbicides and pesticides. MSO allows herbicides to penetrate into weed with waxy cuticles, such as crabgrass. MSO also adds effectiveness in hot/dry conditions. Use rates for herbicide:
