Due to ongoing salt shortages and rising replacement costs, market pricing on bulk salt has increased effective immediately. An updated price sheet is attached. Based on the current forecast and expected snow totals, we will not be opening for pretreat. In these conditions, pretreating can create an ice layer beneath accumulated snow and increase risk rather than improve results. Inventory is being held to support proper treatment during the event.
